Greetings from Unity Group Of Institutions( Touhid Education Society).
We are a Group of institutions located in Karwar district working towards making education accessible to
every
child and especially the poor and the underprivileged. Our primary mission is to provide girls located in
the
remote areas of Karwar district, access to quality education and thereby an opportunity for a bright future.
Our Homes- Mothers Home and Qudsia Banu Women’s Unity Home have been started to make sure that the girls
have a
secure home while pursuing their studies. Although we are always in need of funds , this has never stopped
us
from keeping up with the current standards of education. We have been blessed with the support from family
and
friends and our students have excelled in academics, sports , drama and cultural events. This is possible
through the dedicated efforts and wholehearted commitment of our teachers, staff and Managemnet.
What has started in 1953 as a few classesfrom Std V to Std IX has now grown into a full fledged group of
institutions . The baton has passed down from my late grandfather Janab Rahimkhan Omerkhan to my father
Janab
Etibar Shah Rahim Khan and I, now have the honour and privilege of carrying forth this legacy. The
challenges
are many , the path is often difficult but the joy and satisfaction of knowing that you have made a
difference
in a child’s life makes it all worth it.
